Leadership

Duncan and Julie Blackwell joined First Baptist Church in June of 2022. Duncan serves as our Senior Pastor and Julie is a homeschool mom to their three sons Ezra, Owen, and Eamon. Duncan has served in vocational ministry since 2015. Having served as a Student Pastor and an Associate Pastor, Duncan is now in his second pastorate. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership from SWBTS and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. His greatest passions in ministry are text-driven preaching and developing leaders within the local church.

Aaron and Katie Robertson joined FBC in June of 2023. Aaron serves as the Worship & Discipleship Pastor. His wife, Katie, is the Executive Director for OkMEA and homeschools their two children, Teddy and Madeline. Aaron has a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master of Music degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served at churches in Oklahoma and Texas and is passionate about helping the church to worship God, love one another and make disciples of Jesus.

Cory was born and raised in Elk City. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1993. He has been a member of FBCEC since 2004, before being called into Youth Ministry in March of 2023. Cory has a heart for youth and seeing the students of Elk City go out into the world as Christian examples to others. Cory and his wife Christie have four beautiful daughters: Catelynn, Chelsea, Clancie, and Cassidy. Cory's family owns Mountain Man's Axe Throwing and Grub, where he is known as the "Mountain Man". He also serves as the Mayor of Elk CIty. If you see him around town call him whatever you want to, just do not call him late for dinner.

Pastor of Hispanic Church

Jenny grew up in Germantown, Tennessee. She attended Oklahoma State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a speciality in Human Resource Management. She is married to Brock and has three daughters: Savannah, Lizzie, and Audrey. Jenny has been an active member of FBC Elk City for over 25 years. 

 Shelly has been a member of FBCEC for 18 years and joined our staff in 2022. She loves children and has been working in children's ministry for 27 years. Shelly attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained a degree in Sociology and she later obtained a M.S. in Human Resources Counseling at East Central University. Shelly and her husband, Anthony, own their own company and have one grown daughter, Raylee.

Courtney was born in North Dakota, but grew up in Texas. She currently lives in Sayre with her husband, Dan, and seven of her eight kids! She two girls and six boys. Between cheer, softball, football, track, and baseball, Courtney stays pretty busy cheering her kids on while they do what they love! The Hanrahan house is always loud, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. Courtney has always had a passion for serving children and in 2016 she answered God’s call to children’s ministry.
